This piece was used to display a large piece of artwork on top when not serving as a tv.
The front panel opens as the tv lifts to expose the speakers/soundbar. The slot in the top that opens was just large enough to accomidate the tv size. Some pieces are made with the entire top of the cabinet lifting to expose the tv below.
The panels in the back were semi-concealed yet they allow access to the back of the tv
