Fireside

As most of us will stay indoors to weather the winter storm, firewood will be put to good use and many will spend the day lingering by open flames.

These fireplace settings speak to me in so many ways. Some are rustic and cottage like, surrounded by oversized furniture inviting you to curl up, while others are refined and unexpected, acting as a conversation piece. Whatever the size, shape or form, a fireplace has a quality about it that makes a house a home...especially on a snowy day.
