Side panels – created with fabric from Watts, which stands out as the main fabric and ties all colors in this treatment together. A 3”W band of gold velvet was added, which is separated by green loop fringe and finished with red, gold & green onion fringe. The shape is created by cutting the bottom at an angle. Panels are held in place with gold fleur-de-lis holdbacks.
Shaped Cornice board – made with burgundy velvet and repeating the gold banding and trims. A pelmet is layered over top with the fleur-de-lis portion of Watts fabric centered and trapunto quilted. A band of gold velvet is separated with a burgundy cord and the bottom point of the pelmet is finished with a key tassel. To complete the treatment, a gold metal cornice was applied with tassels draping each side.
