Outdoor Spaces

Is there really anything more charming then bringing nature in to your space? The smell of the seasons, a slight breeze and a little sunshine on your face -- just a few reasons why we all look forward to relaxing outside on a warm afternoon or evening. Or is it all the possibilities that draw you in...a party on the patio, a quiet place to read, or a stunning view?

Whatever it may be, taking advantage of space outside truly creates another room in your home and it's all the more enchanting with the outdoor elements...

A Splendid Staple

There is something to be said about staples in every project - and why not make it a lovely print wall covering as New York City designer Tom Scheerer does. Breezy, playful and full of personality.

A new take on lunch: Lunchskins

If you love design, you can appreciate it many forms other then your space - things like stationary, fashion accessories and clothing...even setting your table or wrapping presents. There are many ways to be creative and appreciate color, texture and style in your every day. Which is what brings me to Lunchskins - reusable lunch/sandwich bags created by a group of local women or "3 green moms" as they can be referred to, who wanted to put a stop to plastic bags ending up in landfills - what they came up with has been a hit, even recently featured in O, The Oprah Magazine!

As they say..."Whether you care about our environment, saving money, eating healthy, or looking stylish, LunchSkins are the answer to your plastic baggie blues -- they offer an environmental benefit (reduce landfill waste), a practical benefit (they can be used hundreds of times and save you money over the long run), and a healthy choice (food tastes better in a pastry bag)."

````````````````
Two large buildings store the fabric bolts and memos - both are 2 stories and there are rows and rows and rows of textiles...it is quite a site! To fully understand the amount of fabric that is shipped in and out of Fabricut each day, enjoy this fun fact: Fabricut is the largest UPS shipper in the state of Oklahoma!
Wall of Frames
These "wall of frames" are like a personal museum, revealing memories shared with loved ones, displaying special mementos or art collections - there seem to be no rules in style or set-up, making it all the more interesting. Whatever the story, each arrangement is unique from the next and certainly seems like an engaging place for any visitor...
